The Company
Gounadakis Farm was founded in 1980 by George Gounadakis, the founding member to this day. It initially focused on the trade of dairy products and meat, and since then, it has followed a steady upward path. Today, it supplies large food service businesses, hotels, supermarkets, and stores across Crete with dairy products, fresh meat, frozen meat, and frozen seafood.
History
- In 2003, it opened its first retail store with local products in Vryses Apokoronas. - In 2019, it inaugurated its modern dairy facility and entered the local market with traditional sheep's yogurt and galomyzithra. - In 2021, it started the trade of frozen foods and began collaborating with hotels, becoming more actively involved in the HO.RE.CA. sector.
